​​​​Tom Martin, MD​

Dr. Martin is a board certified Thoracic surgeon with over 29 years of practice experience having completed his Thoracic and Cardiovascular training at the University of Florida in 1989. Currently he is a Professor of Surgery in the Division of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at UF and is the Director of the UF Health Aortic Disease Center.  He is recognized locally, regionally, and nationally as an expert in all aspects of complex cardiac and aortic surgery and has special interests and expertise in thoracic and thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms, thoracic endovascular procedures, aortic  dissections, collagen disorders such as Marfans Syndrome, complex valvular pathology, and patients with multiple previous cardiac operations.
